A Case of the Giggles

This Saturday, 6/12, the Discovery Theater presents “Giggles: The Girl Who Made the Whole World Laugh,” as the final performance of of the VSA Festival. The play is about Giggles, the 10-year-old star of the McDuffle Circus, who was born without a voice, but with the ability to giggle. Through Giggles’ story, kids take away the message that it’s okay to be different, and family is what you make it.

The performance takes place at Smithsonian’s Ripley Center. if you’re wondering where exactly that is, it’s entered via that cute copper-domed kiosk between the Castle and Freer Gallery on Jefferson Drive, just off Independence Ave.

Showtimes are 10:30am and 12:30pm. Tickets start at $4/child, 2 and under are free. Recommended for kids ages 4- 12.
