Sunset Serenades at the National Zoo

The National Zoo’s Sunset Serenades summer concert begins this evening. Every Thursday for the next three weeks, visitors can enjoy a free music performance from 6:30pm – 8pm. Tonight, The Steve Scott Project will bring their mix of jazz, reggae, calypso, and R&B to Lion/Tiger Hill. Pack a picnic or purchase food, ice cream, beer, and wine from Zoo vendors to enjoy as you watch the show.

Coming in the next few weeks:

July 29: GHZ [Gigahertz] Band and Show
Featuring “Psychdelic Blues” influences including artists such as Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, and Led Zeppelin.

August 5: The Grandsons
The Grandsons, who have performed at Wolf Trap, will be performing from their WAMMIE Roots Rock-winning albums.
