Put a little mystery into your holidays this Wednesday, December 1, at the International Spy Museum. From 4pm – 8pm, the public is invited to a Holiday Extravaganza, part of the museum’s Community Night series.
Designed for the DC Metropolitan community, the mission of Community Night is to spread goodwill and reach underserved communities. The free, fun-filled educational events are held the last Wednesday of every month (with the exception of this month) focusing on different themes and offering activities for all ages.
This month’s Holiday Extravaganza, co-hosted by Pets DC and Adoptions Together, will include all kinds of activities in the lobby: crafts, face painting, trivia, and opportunities to win prizes. And the fun doesn’t stop there — guests are welcome to tour the museum and its espionage exhibits beyond the entrance. That said, kids aged 8 and up will get the most out of the museum, but the lobby festivities can be enjoyed by everyone.
And let me mention again that this is all free, a fantastic deal considering regular ticket prices start at $15. If you’re interested in attending, be sure to sign up through the website. Just follow the “Reservation Form” link to register.
