I love your website and it has been very helpful. But I thought I had to tell you that you goofed up about one event last weekend.
We went to the AAM for Shadow Family Night on the 2nd of Feb and found out that the event was on the 1st and not 2nd…
Anyway, we explored around the Museum and plan to double check calling in advance next time.
Thanks for the hard work you put on your site, I guess once in a while stuff happens.

Oh, gosh… I am so sorry about that, K! Definitely an error on my part, though I like to think a mix-up like that is rare. I really hope you still enjoyed the museum.

  2. I’m a member of the US Army Band and we’re having a GREAT *free* event for kids this weekend 9/21 at 10:30 called “Musical Stories for Children of All Ages” – we’ll have a full story, introducing the different instruments, puppets, and even a pre-concert musical petting zoo where kids can experiment with the different instruments! I would really appreciate you adding it to your calender (I didn’t see a “add to calender” request), please let me know if you have any questions! Thank you!

  3. I wanted to contact you regarding the 2013 National Sheepdog Finals that are going to be held October 8-13, 2013 at the Belle Grove Plantation in Middletown, VA (just an hour outside Washington, DC).

The National Sheepdog Finals are held to crown the best working sheepdog and handler team in the USA and Canada. The dogs and handlers that compete come from farms and ranches far and wide. They have earned the right to step on the Finals field through their successes at local sheepdog trials through the year.
This competition travels across the US and we are excited to be in Virginia this year. This event showcases farmers, livestock and agriculture at this family friendly event.
We would love your help in publicizing this event. It is very spectator friendly and truly showcases the agriculture community. Thousands of attendees will witness the true beauty of the working relationship between man and dog. Other attractions will include duck herding and wool spinning demonstrations, educational classes on Border Collies and Border Collie rescue, drug and bomb sniffing dog demonstrations, seminars on hobby farming, and vendor fare.

Would it be possible to have the Finals listed in your calendar of events?

Please contact me if you have any questions or need additional information.
