Here’s another big festival to add to the list of autumn celebrations. The Annual Fall Great Pumpkin Harvest Festival is bringing a seasonal theme to Great Country’s expanse of farm adventure. Through October 31, weekends at the Loudon County farm will feature a pumpkin eating dinosaur, the Pumpkin Princess in the pumpkin patch, a new corn maze, 60-foots slides, swings, tractor rides, and even more fun in the country.
Of course, you can also pick your own pumpkins in the area’s largest u-pick patch. Your family’s future jack o’ lantern may be waiting there.
Great Country is located in Bluemont, VA, at the base of the Blur Ridge Mountains, about an hour drive from DC. Visit the website for directions.
