It was one year ago this coming Thursday, February 24, that the KidFriendly DC blog came into the world, weighing in on DC family recreation with a post about the launch of the National Building Museum’s Book of the Month program, 132 words long, at 3:29am (I hadn’t yet set the time to EST).
Exactly 350 posts later (counting this one), I’m celebrating the milestone with a week of giveaways, and you’re invited to join me. Every day this coming week, KFDC readers will have a chance to win a fantastic prize from a venue that’s been mentioned on the blog over the past year. After all, it’s the places and activities I write about that have helped shape KFDC, offering not just inspiration for my content, but entertainment, education, and good times for all of us families.
And, finally, a big THANK YOU to all of you, my readers, for your interest and support this past year. I hope you’ve enjoyed KidFriendly DC as much as I enjoy creating it.
